Aventheon

About

Aventheon is a technical consultancy. We build and upgrade websites, modernize legacy software, advise on technical decisions, and integrate AI where it genuinely helps — not because it's trending.

We stay deliberately broad rather than claiming a single narrow specialty on day one. Most small technical problems don't fit neatly into one category — a "website project" usually turns up a data model that needs fixing, or a "modernization" turns up a UX problem nobody had named yet. We'd rather scope the actual problem than force it into a service we sell.

We build the products we recommend building. PDFCourt is ours end to end: designed, built, shipped, and operated by Aventheon, with nearly 1,800 real operations completed by users in the last 90 days. When we tell a client what a good technical decision looks like, it's informed by having made those decisions on our own product, with our own users, not just in theory.

We're a new firm. We'd rather say that plainly than dress it up — what we can promise is direct, honest scoping and work we're willing to stand behind.

Why lean beats bloated, structurally

This isn't a claim about being better, it's a description of where the money goes.

Who does the work

Sold by a partner, delivered by whoever's on the bench that week
The people you talk to are the people who build it

Overhead

Account managers, layers of handoff, utilization targets to hit
No bench to fill, no markup to justify a management layer

Scoping

Broad statements of work written to protect margin
Scoped to the actual problem, in a conversation, before anything's quoted

Stake in the outcome

Ships the contract, moves to the next account
Builds and runs its own product; if a recommendation doesn't hold up in production, we're the ones who'd feel it first

Pricing

Rate cards designed around billable-hour targets
Fixed-scope pricing on request, no hourly padding to fill

Access and ownership

Logins and source code held by the vendor as leverage
You get your own credentials and full access from day one

How an engagement runs

01

Scope the actual problem

A direct conversation about what you're dealing with, not a sales call. We ask enough to understand what's actually broken or needed before anyone talks about a plan.

02

Fixed-scope proposal

You get a clear, written scope and a fixed price before work starts. No open-ended hourly clock, no surprise invoice.

03

Build, in the open

Direct access to whoever's doing the work, not a project manager relaying messages. You see progress as it happens, not at a scheduled check-in.

04

Ship, and stand behind it

We hand off working software, documented well enough that you're not locked into us to maintain it, and we stay reachable after launch.
